Debut vocal recital!

I meant to get to this post last week, but my computer died:

I am having my very first solo vocal recital next week, Tuesday Dec 14th at 7pm PST! If you're in the area, you can attend in person (bring your vax card to show at the door), but there's also a live-stream, so you can watch wherever and whenever you'd like!

I'll be singing some of my classical compositions, as well as 10 song cycle by a colleague of mine from grad school, Evan C Paul, and closing with a jazzy number from Portland local composer Amir Shirazi.

Tickets and info here:

In other news, I've been on a hiatus lately, because I got a full-time orchestra teaching job! I'm hoping to continue composing once I get a handle on my schedule (I woke up with an opening line: Stand back, I'm going to try Science! running thru my head this morning), but I'll probably be inconsistent for a bit.
