BETA TEST release Friday!

I'm excited to let you know that I'm almost done recording BETA TEST, a self-produced album to introduce cellopunk to the world. Most of the tracks are done in a version that I can reproduce live – singing and playing at the same time. A couple tracks really couldn't do without a few extra parts mixed in, but 2/3 of the album is “live” versions.

This is not meant to be the final version of this album, but I want to share my cellopunk project, and having BETA TEST available will make it easier to describe. I hope to have a full album version with collaborative musicians and a fuller sound at a later date. If you like what you hear, buying BETA TEST and sharing it with your friends will help support me in making the full version. You can also join my mailing list for discounts, and support me on Patreon for early access and other behind the scenes updates.

I'm releasing BETA TEST on Friday June 19th, in support of BandCamp's Juneteenth Celebration – BandCamp is donating all of their portion of sales from Friday to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. I will always be putting some of my income from these sales to support activism, and I will always offer discounts for anyone belonging to an oppressed group.

Additionally, I'll be going live on my fb page to perform some of these tracks on Friday, 6:30pm PDT. Please invite your friends to join me and like my page!

If 15 tracks of cellopunk aren't enough for you, my album of solo cello tunes, Solitary Springtime, is also available on BandCamp, and I'm working on a single in a Zoe Keating multi-track style to release this week as well.

Thank you for your support! Look for a link on Friday!
